Strings: 6 string · Technology: Solid Body · Colour / Finish: Pitch Black · Neck construction: Set in neck · Frets: 22 · Scale Length: 24,75″ (62,87 cm) · Body Material: Mahogany · Neck: Mahogany · Country of Origin: Made in China · Gothic Collection The Epiphone Les Paul has never been in a darker dress. Its non-reflective, satin black finish with black chrome hardware that perfectly brings out the sinister character of this instrument. Running over the black hardware, the strings seem like bars running over the Anico V Humbuckers which deliver a dangerously hot tone. As if its horns were not already evil enough, the Gothic SG also has that satin black finish with black hardware. Just as with the Les Paul Gothic, it has a glued-in neck. It features high-output Alnico V Humbuckers for achieving the standard, biting SG sound. The Gothic Flying V has a very distinctive aerodynamic body. As a result of its vicious looks you would need to ask yourself if it was once named “Flying V” as a result of its body shape or as a result of its actual looks. Anyway, fact is this axe has hidden powers waiting to be found out… Evil edges, satin black finish, merciless sound- the axe for metal heroes! The Gothic Explorer delivers a crackingly heavy sound. Features at a glance: · Colour: Pitch Black · Body: Mahogany · Neck: Set neck · Fretboard: Rosewood, 22 frets · Pickups: 2 High-Output Alnico V Humbuckers · Hardware: Black Chrome · Bridge: Fixed bridge · Regler: 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3-way switch for pickup selection · Epiphone have been within the business for 125 years now. Epaminondas Stathopoulos is the founder and namesake of Epiphone. He has already obtained his first patent when he was once only 24 years old. The history of Epiphone has also been shaped greatly by the brilliant guitarist Les Paul experimenting within the Epiphone factory to design the first solid body electric guitar in 1941.
